Brilliant item, just the right size to scrape a plate into. I empty it straight into the outside food waste bin every evening and it goes into the dishwasher and comes out clean ready to use the next day. Much more hygienic and easier to use than standard food waste caddies. As it doesn’t need a liner I only have to use one large liner in the outside food waste bin.

I have been looking for a food waste caddy of this size for quite some time and I was delighted to find this in Dunelm. It is just the right size to sit on the kitchen bench, and looks very smart. When it comes to emptying it into the garden compost bin, it’s easy to carry and as the lid is removable, easy to empty.
